Audrey Hepburn gazes out from beneath a wide-brimmed sun hat tied with a soft pink bow, her face half in shadow, half in light. Behind her, a field of hot pink and magenta is layered with hand-lettered fragments of her own philosophy (I believe in pink… I believe in miracles), rising beneath a bold collaged "I BELIEVE" banner. Drips, washes, and loose brushwork soften the photographic portrait into something more personal: an icon remembered rather than reproduced.
Part of the Icons series, a celebration of classic Hollywood legends in mixed media.
